On the edge of the beautiful Dordogne,

Two beautiful 3 bedroom houses and a self contained annex perfect for large family events and holidays.
200 years old, this village house is situated in the charming village of Bors de Montmoreau with friendly international neighbours, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers.
The attractive gardens are bordered by both the main house and the petite maison. The garden comprises a large patio area with comfortable dining furniture, a substantial decked area with comfortable lounging furniture and cabana which extends to the side of the swimming pool. There is a large games barn to the rear of the main house which houses a table tennis table and basketball hoop, and two small barns to the side of the property, one of which houses the pump and filtration system for the pool and the switches for the external and pool lights. There is a small courtyard at the rear of the large barn.
There is a car-port to the rear of the property, sufficient for two good sized cars.
The gardens of the property are completely enclosed and gated with plenty of private nooks to relax and enjoy the sun at all times of the day.
The house is situated in a very rural area of France where the pace of life is very relaxed, making it ideal for those who just want to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax by the pool with a good book. However, with the Dordogne on the doorstep, there is plenty to see and do for those who prefer a more active holiday!
The Dordogne is renowned not only for it’s stunning scenery but also for it’s watersports, with plenty of opportunities to explore by canoe, kayak and by pony. The fine old cities of Angoulême, Perigeux and La Rochelle are worthy of a visit. If you want to travel a little further, Cognac and Bordeaux are a little over an hour’s drive away, with wine tours to tempt!
The renowned town of Aubeterre with it’s unique monolithic church is only a 10 minute drive away. A lovely clean beach has been made on the bend of the river Dronne here, with a very safe swimming area, volleyball, tennis, a childrens’ play area, picnic facilities and a café. Aubeterre also has a wealth of restaurants and bars and a lovely village square which comes alive with the Sunday morning market. There are some lovely, interesting shops here including a gallery and hand-made wooden toy shop.
The lovely market town of Ribérac is a 20 minute drive away. The square here offers a good choice of restaurants and bars.
The small town of Montmoreau is only a ten minute drive away and provides well for shopping, banking, petrol, post office, pharmacy.
There are plenty of restaurants locally which cater for all tastes and pockets.
Just 10 minutes drive away in Pillac, the Manoir de Longeveau offers a good 9 hole course for golf enthusiasts, floodlit tennis courts and a inexpensive lunchtime menu. The Manoir also offers good barbeque and other theme nights throughout the summer.
The Charente is a truly beautiful part of France and has wonderful summers. Bors is set in the midst of farmland and vineyards and in high summer the countryside is ablaze with sunflowers.
